About Atlantic Beach, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Atlantic Beach is a small town found in Carteret County. It is one of the five Bogue Banks communities and is home to about 1,500 residents. Construction of the community began in 1887, and in 1928, a bridge was erected to connect Atlantic Beach to nearby Morehead City. Today, the area is a popular summertime tourist destination, and much of the community’s economy is driven by area attractions, hotels, and restaurants.

There are several interesting places to visit in Atlantic Beach. Fort Macon State Park is arguably one of the most prominent, as it offers a wealth of outdoor recreation and historical sites, and the Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail is also a good way to take in the local scenery. Tourists and residents alike enjoy the many restaurants found in Atlantic Beach, some of which include Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar, Island Grille, Oceana Fishing Pier, and the Idle Hour Biergarten. There are also several fishing charters in the community that can get visitors out on the water, including Captain Stacy Fishing Charters and Mount Maker Charters.

Atlantic Beach features a variety of weather conditions throughout the year. The summer months are hot and humid, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s. If you are in need of a new central air conditioner, your local HVAC professional can help you to choose the right system with a high SEER rating. These systems will keep your home cool while improving indoor air quality.

The area is quite popular during the winter months, as weather conditions tend to be mild. Average daily highs reach the high 50s or low 60s, although overnight temperatures can plummet into the 30s. When these conditions move into the area, home structural damage may result, including damage to pipes and plumbing. To stay safe and avoid expensive repairs, the right heat pump or furnace is a necessity.
